Quick intro to Goldratt's Theory of Constraints (part 0)
After watching Eric Berlow’s TED Talk ‘How Complexity Leads to Simplicity’ I couldn’t help but write Eric an email to introduce him to the Theory of Constraints.
He asked me for a ‘good quick read’ and because I couldn’t find anything I liked, I decided to write my own QIT-GTOC. And then I thought more people might want to benefit from such an effort, so I decided to put it online in installments.
I don’t claim to be original, merely to organize the bits and pieces in one place.
Here’s a preliminary list of what to expect in future (irregular) posts:
- The Four Pillars of TOC
- The Five Focusing Steps
- The Four Principles of Flow
- The Thinking Processes
- TOC Applications
- Is TOC the Grand Theory of Everything?
Any comments or questions are more than welcome.
